I don't know how but this video and song manages to capture the frustrations and jubilations of being young, of being passionate, of being in love or impulsive. This is the kind of unrestrained emotion I hope to bring in fashion, to bring them to their knees, make them cry, make them laugh, hell just to evoke something.....I think that is where people get confused about what fashion is about. It is about the colors, the lights, the sounds, the touch, the sights. Fashion is about showing a seemingly innocent enough concept and bringing it into reality, it's a literal translation of a vision, a purpose, it's about bringing a soul to a garment, it's about people....it's about our fears, our dreams....about false identity, complete nakedness and an idealized vision of who we hope to be.
